After seeing the building, I told my guide to turn back to have the clear look of what seemed not like a church to me.
The service has ended but people were still talking in groups. I greeted them and requested to see the pastor of the church. "Hope there is no problem", they asked in Yoruba. I assured them that there is no problem. One of them pointed to him and I moved closer to where the pastor was, almost to the altar where he was counting the tithe and the offering.
Good afternoon sir, I greeted him but he seemed to be skeptical, expecting me to introduce myself and what I wanted from him.
After telling him my name, he also introduced himself. My name is Pastor Moses Fatoki.
I asked him what it means to be a pastor in this dungeon. He said to me, "You know it takes the grace of God to work for God and wherever and whenever he calls you, you have to respond, so God has been faithful in his work and I'm going to thank him for that"
My heart felt for him as he was explaining. I held his hand and encouraged him.
I asked him if he will want us to take photograph in front of the church together, he declined and told me that he was busy.
