If I had failed before? Yes, I
have failed! I mean to fail a course and write it again in the next semester or
session for me to make up my Cumulative Grade Point Aggregate (CGPA) if I want
to graduate from the school. This is one of the things that I fear most, I
don’t usually go to check my scores when my colleagues go to check theirs. To
those who pretend to love me will write the score especially ladies to inform
me to see the lecturer in charge of the course unfailingly if there is any
eventuality he can do it, perhaps to upgrade or do something else. Not that
alone, I have failed in different aspects of life that sometimes I just can’t
connect myself to the gravity of failure.
This is my own story, what about
your own failure story or you don’t want to be associated with failure at all.
Either you don’t want to be connected with failure or not, you are a failure
already – this is not an abuse but a realistic remark that you cannot contest
at all. Think I’m wrong? How many times have you been given a task, that you
can’t fix the task even after the full and comprehensive details of the task
had been explained to you. The good example of this is when you want to fix an
electronic gadget you have bought, you have the brain, you have the manual, you
have the expertise but the thing is not just working, difficult to understand
right?
If we are asked how we come to
fail in any of our projects that we are so sure will succeed, we cannot often
justify ourselves or the reason why we fail either positively and negatively
just as when we could not fathom how we succeed at the job interview that we
know that we perform woefully in. I am not holding brief for failure neither am
I justifying the reasons for us to fail but failure sometimes is a must for us
to move to the next level of life just as success is sacrosanct to us in life.
Quite often in life, what we call
failures are not failures at all, they are points and platforms for God either
to bring out a particular strength in us or to take us to the direction he
wants us to be in life. Just like my own case, I have failed, I mean I failed
but I have never count my failures as failures. What I do is to reposition my
failure to fail me forward because the fact is that every of my perceived
failure has a seed of fortune. So, the real success in life is going from
failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.
We must learn to embrace failure
when its reality has put us in the web; it is not to be wailing and be shedding
tears that cannot help. Even God is not move by tears; He’s move by the move of
faith to take step. In getting out of failure, the first thing to realize is
that you have failed already, never pretend as if nothing is happening to you
but don’t let it enter your head. The second thing to do is to think the way
out, irrespective of the situation you might be facing in life, there will
always be a way out to getting solution to the challenges in life. I have been
there before, I got solution. I am still there and I’m still getting solutions
to my challenges so your own is not exceptional, you will also get out of it.
The third thing to do is to look
out for help. Nobody in life, male or female, black or blonde, pastor or imam
is beyond the level of help and the fact is that everybody in life needs help. The good news to know is that there are
billions of people who want to help you out of the predicament you are facing.
So be willing to tell people to help you but you must be careful when asking
and seeking for help.
The forth thing to do is to
always seek for excellent in all your tasks in life, either small of big. Never
give room to mediocrity. Strive to be the best in all your life. Excellence is
the permanent cure for failure. If you do your project and task very well, you
will always get referral and recommendation from people.
If failure has produce success
for you in life before, kindly write it in the comment link below for people to
learn from it.
Thank you.
