Daddy G.O, Oyedepo, Oritshejafor, Kumuyi, others for #BringBackOurGirls protest

It is common knowledge that a problem whose origins we have not taken enough pain to trace is often difficult to solve. The present situation our country “Nigeria” is encountering is what Shakespeare described in one of his book as higgledy and piggledy “a state where there is bedlam and turmoil in a society”

No doubt that our country is in acute chaos, the president and his caucus seem to be clueless on what to do, the securities agencies with all their perceived sophisticatedness that should protect the citizens against any internal or external attacks appeared to be tamed also.

There are two accounts in the Holy Bible that happened in the Old Testament when the nation of Israel was faced with wars that wanted to destroy the whole nation – the people of God. The whole nation including the king and the top government officials were under the treat of the enemies, 2 Chronicles 20:1 – 29.
The king, Jehosaphat after series of consultation gathered the whole nation together, most top government officials, business men, politicians, cleric, old, young, women, men, white or black all gathered to worship God and pray unto God to deliver them from the countries that have come to wage war against them.
We all know the story, they all worshipped and prayed unto God in one heart, and the Lord God heard them and caused their enemies to set ambush against themselves.

The second story is in the book of Ester in the Old Testament when Haman wanted to bring down the entire generation of God’s people into extinction just as Shekau is threatened to sell the abducted girls to unknown places.

Modecai, a prominent statesman from Israel summoned their person who was the King’s wife in Presidency to stop Haman’s intention or else their entire generation will be a history including her.
With one heart, Ester told Modecai to gather the people and be in mourning and fasting for three days while she will use her good relational capacity with favour of God with her to discuss the issue with the king.
They all gathered for three days to fast and prayed unto the Lord to hear them out. The Lord heard them out and their enemy, Haman with his entire family was killed in place of people of God.
The outstanding thing in these two stories is that people of God gathered in one heart and call unto God to save them from the enemy that wanted to kill them.

If our president can close down the whole city of Abuja for three days just for World Economic Summit that cannot end insurgency in our country, why can’t prominent men of God, Daddy G.O, Bishop Oyedepo, Sam Adeyemi, Ayo Oritshejafor, Daddy Kumuyi, Pastor Abiara, Pastor Oyakhilome, Pastor D.K Olukoya, Paul Adefarasin, Bishop Okonkwo and other men of God, big or small in this country with their congregations stand to protest, pray and worship God on Lagos/Ibadan Express way for three days with oneness of heart and dedication and see if God will not hear us against Boko Haram and other vices in our nation.
The list that was released recently has is that most of the girls that were kidnapped are Christians; this alone should call for church activities to be on hold for now just for the sake of our Jerusalem “Nigeria” that is dying now and the release of these girls.

Thank you,
Seye Joseph
